The major problem with this toaster is that the slots are ridiculously tiny. This is a pretty toaster in SS. It works well for those who like the darkly toasted range - but for lighter toast it's very uneven and will do one side well and the other isn't even brown. It will take bread as long as a piece of wonder bread, but many breads are much longer than that these days. My mom found an old 30 year old toaster at a garage sale that works perfectly - but we have both decided that it's not easy to find a new toaster
Well built, solid construction. Performs well with even browning. It has several selected settings and I wish it was a variable dial for toasting level.
We were searching for a practical toaster that would last forever without a lot of unnecessary features. The controls are pleasant to use and have a good tactile quality about them. We have a lot of KitchenAid appliances that we really like and this toaster fits right in with the rest of the family. Very simple to operate and maintain, the toaster has a slide out tray to remove accumulated bread crumbs. This is a great design that has been well executed. You won't be disappointed to purchase for yourself or a gift.
Seems to be well made. It toasts well and quickly. If they could add a feature to raise smaller items such as English Muffins it would get five stars.
I looked at a few toasters before settling on this one to replace our old one that died. The toaster functions the way you want and the feature that allows toasting on one side of the bread is nice. The size of the toaster seems a little big but this do not bother me since we have ample countertop space. I like the appearance of the toaster and its relatively easy to clean.
